Application

This weekend I got the ball rolling on the service learning project. I have chosen Legacy Clinic in Montrose as the location for my service learning project. I filled out my application and dropped it off at Legacy this past Friday, and the receptionist said that he would forward it to Human Resources. I later looked online and saw that there is a Human Resources department at a different address than the clinic, so my plan for this week is to make sure my application ends up in the right hands and get my position secured. I chose Legacy since it is literally in the same community as UST and because I respect the fact that they do community outreach in the form of free HIV testing in Montrose. My expectations for the project are to have a fulfilling experience helping the community, gain experience working with others in the clinic, and being able to create valuable materials which I can share with patients of the clinic by the end of the semester.
